MSC Cruises is looking for a Compliance Specialist (with particular focus on Anti-bribery and Corruption, Conflict of Interest, Sanctions and Anti-money Laundering), to support the Head of Corporate Compliance in the development and monitoring of the Group Compliance program. The candidate will form part of a collaborative team based in Geneva and will have the opportunity to contribute to the fast-paced and highly diversified international growth of MSC Cruises.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Support the development and implementation of MSC Cruises’ Compliance Program globally.
- Draft and amend policies and procedures, Compliance related documents and contractual clauses, to ensure Compliance with regulations while preserving company’s assets and stakeholders’ interests.
- Assist on due diligence of suppliers, partners and clients, including screening platforms.
- Participate in Compliance reviews and ongoing monitoring activities.
- Assist in the management of company’s global whistleblowing platform and conduct internal investigations.
- Work on moderate to complex matters and provide expert advice to the various MSC Cruises’ functions on Compliance.
- Stay abreast of regulatory developments and their potential impact on MSC Cruises’ operations.
- Prepare and deploy training programs in collaboration with other functions, develop and implement best practices and actively promote and build the Ethics and Compliance culture across the organisation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in global projects to ensure company-wide Compliance.
- Assist with development and implementation of Compliance activities, proactively identifying and proposing measures aiming effectiveness and efficiency.
- Support day-to-day Compliance activities.
Skills & Qualifications
- Law degree. Bar admission is an advantage and Compliance certifications a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in Compliance within a multinational corporation or law firm.
- Full Professional Proficiency in English. Other European languages are advantageous.
- Confirmed experience in supporting global Compliance programs, including due diligence, whistleblowing investigations, Compliance monitoring, Code of Conduct and policy implementation.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a fast paced and rapidly evolving industry and work environment.
- Ability to work independent and be a self-driven person while demonstrating good interpersonal, communication skills and teamwork attitude.
- Strong analytical skills coupled with sound regulatory and business understanding of Compliance.
- Knowledge of the cruise, shipping, travel or transport industries is an asset.
- EU Passport or right to work in Switzerland.
